Company signed an agreement with the Lower Silesian Medical Center DOLMED S.A. – the leader of multidisciplinary healthcare provision in Wroclaw and Lower Silesia. The cooperation’s aim is to commence offering Genomtec’s products and services for patients in DCM DOLMED’s genetic diagnostic laboratory utilizing RT-LAMP technique for SARS-CoV-2 testing using Genomtec® SARS-CoV-2 EvaGreen® RT -LAMP CE-IVD Duo-Kit (RT-LAMP Duo Kit). Due to the close cooperation of both entities DOLMED will become the reference laboratory for products offered by Genomtec S.A.

Under the terms of the contract, apart from the supply of two-gene Genomtec RT-LAMP Duo Kits, Genomtec’s support includes selection and lease of the laboratory equipment, the staff recruitment and creation of the organizational processes supporting the workflow. The cooperation also involves the joint marketing of the innovative LAMP technology. The reference laboratory is located in the Lower Silesian Medical Center DOLMED S.A. at 40 Legnicka Street in Wroclaw.

Genomtec has carried out a bioinformatic analysis (in-silico) and so-called “wet laboratory analysis” for the diagnostic Genomtec RT-LAMP Duo Kit, which fully confirmed its effectiveness in recognition of currently identified SARS-CoV-2 variants, including Breton, which has the ability to escape RT-PCR analysis from swab samples. Recognition of the Breton Variant by the RT-LAMP Duo Kit is important to ensure public health safety where accurate testing against multiple types of SARS-CoV-2 variants is absolutely crucial in sustaining efforts against pandemic control. Furthermore, the assay detects newly emerged variants know as Nigerian, Philippine, Californian and Indian.
Genomtec’s flagship solution – the Genomtec ID is a mobile diagnostic system employing microfluidic system and the proprietary, patented SNAAT® technology. This innovative diagnostic system will be able to carry out several tests from one sample simultaneously, including causal determination of respiratory tract infections or sexually transmitted diseases, even in 15 minutes. Genomtec ID will be used for point of care diagnostics, i.e., in doctor’s offices, emergency department, and even a pharmacy.
