Genomtec® SARS-CoV-2 RT-LAMP/N CE-IVD laboratory kit is our first product in the SARS-CoV-2 pipeline. After just over 10 weeks of hard work we are extremely proud to be able to aid in laboratory workflow improvement by making available our quick genetic test that utilizes SNAAT® technology therefore providing superb diagnostic parameters and delivers on Genomtec’s longstanding promise: it is incomparable faster than any other commercially available diagnostic kit in RT-PCR technique.
Achieved characteristics result from use of our patent-pending LAMP primers, the highest quality enzymes and optimised other reagent compositions. All of it guarantees signal detection for positive clinical samples at around 11 minutes, with the overall protocol set for 30 minutes (as compared to minimum of 75 minutes for the best performing diagnostic RT-PCR laboratory assays). Additionally, it has been clinically validated on the real-world patients’ specimens with 100% concordance against the gold standard CE-IVD RT-PCR test and is available for use on any Real-Time PCR instrument equipped in FAM (green) fluorescent detection channel.
Genomtec is currently manufacturing the test for professional use with commercial interest registered around the world. We won’t stop here, we will push further with our SARS-CoV-2 pipeline to offer shortly different diagnostic solutions, concomitantly developing our mobile POCT platform, Genomtec ID.
