Genomtec managed to make its way to the final top five as part of the second edition of InCredibles, an acceleration programme of Sebastian Kulczyk for innovative start-ups.
10 best start-ups presented themselves during the Pitch Day. As part of closing speeches, Miron Tokarski was thoroughly questioned by the jury panel of the programme which included such prominent people as Sebastian Kulczyk (CEO of Kulczyk Investmens), Rafał Plutecki (CEO of Campus Warsaw), Dariusz Żuk (CEO of Business Link), Maciej Sadowski from Startup Hub Poland, and Mariusz Gralewski from Docplanner.
Miron must have made quite an impression on them because Genomtec was mentioned as the first company from the top five!
The distinction gives us access to opportunities for cooperating with investors and business partners from abroad. However, before we are ready to deserve and receive a non-repayable grant of USD 50 000, we need to prepare ourselves to make considerable efforts. Finalists will take part in an eight-week mentoring programme which includes workshops with mentors from the Silicon Valley and meetings with experts from Singularity University, as well as a two-day stay at the Google for Startup Campus in London.
300 companies from 34 countries – mostly from Central and Eastern Europe – applied for participation in the acceleration programme.
