Participation in HUBweek in Bostonie was a part of the prize we won as part of the 4th edition of MIT Enterprise Forum Poland, one of the largest Polish accelerator programmes for tech start-ups. Who would have thought that we would return with yet another prize?
HUBweek is an annual innovation festival founded in 2014 by The Boston Globe, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Massachusetts General Hospital. It is a platform where most creative minds gather to try and change the shape of art, science, and technology. As part of this year’s edition of the event, pitching sessions for developing companies from the USA and from other countries were organised. Start-ups from Canada, Germany, Greece, and Poland have had an opportunity to deliver two-minute presentations about their technologies as part of a contest called “Around the World in 2 Minutes or Less.” Genomtec emerged victorious.
Our visit to the Bootcamp in Boston also made it possible for us to learn more about how to expand on the American market and to see one of the largest innovation environments in the world with Massachusetts Institute of Technology at its heart. It was also an opportunity for us to present our technologies to investors and prospective business partners from the USA.
