Professor\u00a0Tadeusz\u00a0Dobosz and Miron\u00a0Tokarski in an interview for Gazeta Wyborcza<\/em>, Wroc\u0142aw edition reveal the origins of Genomtec S.A. and explain the advantages of isothermal technologies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks to the invention of Wroc\u0142aw scientists, the entire procedure is going to be faster and cheaper. \u2013 Until now no one has even worked on such a\u00a0device, following the rule: \u2018If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it\u2019. However, we believe that accelerating the diagnostic process can really contribute to saving people’s lives. In some cases, like with pneumonia, endocarditis or sepsis, time is of the essence. Now, it happens that doctors start treatment without actually knowing the aetiology of the condition. They use broad-spectrum medicines or are only guided by visible symptoms. Our device will make it possible to complete the diagnostic process in less than twenty minutes: even at the patient’s home or in a\u00a0moving ambulance, says Professor Tadeusz\u00a0Dobosz, who manages the research.\u201d<\/p>\n
